Home to 1,054 guestrooms and suites, Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport has opened as one of the largest hotel projects in the city’s history. The new property features a sleek contemporary visual identity inspired by the creativity and energy of Boston’s fine arts and innovation courtesy of a robust design team, including locally based Elkus Manfredi Architects, Moody Nolan, Stull and Lee, and Dallas-based design studio Waldrop + Nichols.

“The goal of the design was to deliver a progressive aesthetic with the quality and warmth synonymous to the Omni brand,” says Waldrop + Nichols vice president Andrea Waldrop. “The visual and performing art institutions in and around Boston with their adaptive use of space, along with the spirit of innovation renowned within the Seaport neighborhood.”

Distinguished by clean lines reminiscent of a museum, the lobby is anchored by a unique platform stage designed for performances and live music. The space is further enlivened with custom walnut slats and multi-layered illuminated ceilings that infuse depth and texture, while custom artwork and sculptures are showcased as focal points in the east and west lobby. Marble floors, brushed brass, and dark bronze also line the space.

Numerous F&B options are housed onsite including upscale all-day Mediterranean concept Kestra, modern French brasserie Coquette, and café and wine bar Cocorico. The Sporting Club and Crescendo provide convivial indoor environments, while the Lifted Pool bar on the fifth floor accommodates guests in an open-air oasis adjacent to the hotel pool and overlooking the Seaport district. A full-service spa, 3,800-square-foot fitness center, and 100,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space round out the Omni Boston amenities.

All 1,054 accommodations are spread across two 22-story guestroom towers, including 52 suites like the 2,000-square-foot presidential suite on the 22nd floor of the Patron tower. The two-bedroom retreat boasts 180-degree views, a lounge, private office, private screening room, two fireplaces, an eight-seat dining room, and a bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower and freestanding soaking tub. Additional guestrooms in the Patron tower mirror the presidential palette with rich colors, clean lines, and spacious opulence. The Artist tower features accommodations reminiscent of an artist’s loft, complete with an innovative layout and thoughtful décor.
