Lifestyle hotel company Virgin Hotels has announced the appointment of J. Gregor (“Greg”) Doman to the role of chief development officer. With more than 20 years of experience, Doman will be tasked with setting and implementing the global growth strategy for Virgin, identifying key markets, and structuring transactions between the brand and its owner and developer partners. He will also play an instrumental part in Virgin Hotels’ expansion into the branded residential market.

“Greg Doman’s proven success and robust experience in transactions and business development is an exciting new addition to our talented team,” says James Bermingham, the company’s CEO. “We look forward to engaging his vision and talents as we grow the Virgin Hotels and residential brands.”

Prior to joining Virgin, Doman served as senior vice president of development for Accor, where he led development in North and Central America, as well as the evolution of luxury and upscale brands in South America. Doman also lent his prowess to projects in the Americas and global residential business for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI).

Greg earned his Master of Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
